The department also fulfilled public records requests and scheduled retirement appointments for active staff.COMPENSATION AND EMPLOYEE INFORMATION SERVICESThe Department of Compensation & Employee Information Services (CEIS) focuses on attracting and rewarding a highly skilled workforce. In FY26, CEIS ensured employees received competitive, market-aligned compensation in accordance with state funding guidelines. Staff benchmarked District positions against comparable external roles and recommended pay levels to support recruitment and retention of high-quality talent.As the largest employer in Palm Beach County, the District relies on CEIS and the Human Resources Information Management (HRIM) team to manage a diverse workforce across multiple bargaining units. In collaboration with the Department of Labor Relations and the Payroll Department, CEIS and HRIM implemented union provisions and met processing deadlines.Accomplishments:%u2022 Processed School Board-approved salary increases for more than 23,000 regular and 15,000 temporary employees, ensuring competitive pay.%u2022 Managed large-scale salary adjustments for bargaining and non-bargaining groups in line with updated agreements and market conditions.%u2022 Administered hiring and job-change transactions for more than 20,000 employees, supporting organizational growth and mobility.%u2022 Completed 88% of personnel transactions within three days, exceeding the 75% target.These actions facilitated the movement of thousands of employees into new or adjusted roles across the District.
