WELCOME
TO THE NEW STUDENT
AND EMPLOYEE PORTALS!
Starting July 29, all students and employees began to access their District
software applications via a new and improved portal. Now, when opening
a supported browser from a District machine, the portal login screen will
appear. Upon a successful login, the student or employee will then be
presented with the new portal. The functionality of the new portal is similar to
the previous portal in that you simply locate and click on the applicable tile.
In most cases, the tiles are single sign-on, which means a second login to
each individual application is not required.
Students and employees can continue to access the portal from
home or from a mobile device by going to the District website at www.
palmbeachschools.org and clicking on ‘Sign In’ in the upper right corner of
the screen. A primary benefit of the new portal software is that it is much
more mobile-responsive, making District applications more accessible
via a cell phone or other mobile device. Another benefit is the ability to
communicate to all students and/or employees by a short message at the top
of the portal home screen.
Advanced functionality of the new portal software that may be implemented
in the future include multi-factor authentication, alternative authentication
methods such as QR codes, and improved self-service password reset.
