TRIRIGA DEBUTS IN
ENVIRONMENTAL &
CONSERVATION SERVICES
The Environmental and Conservation Services Department (ECS) will send
inspectors equipped with the latest model iPads to sites reporting indoor
air quality (IAQ) problems. Completing a yearlong development effort, the
TRIRIGA Team is converting a pencil-and-paper system of capturing field
data to an integrated web application that will speed and enhance ECS’s
critical work.
The live feed from the field is not the only feature that TRIRIGA brings to
the department. A new problem intake system is the front end needed to
reliably log schools’ and offices’ complaints. There are supervisory review
and approval stages and direct transmission of work orders to Facilities
Services’s TRIRIGA work order system. The ECS Director and staff acquire
many benefits with the new system. Work performed by both ECS and
Facilities Services is traceable 24/7 and reports are readily available.
The system is up and ready to start the new school year!
Sally Nemes developed the ECS-IAQ App, and Stanley Burnett engineered
the mobility piece. George Solli was the project manager.
