School Mental Health Crisis Response and Intervention
School psychologists and other school-based mental health professionals provided mental health crisis support
for students, families, and school communities following crisis events involving loss, grief, and psychological
trauma. During the 2021-2022 school year, School Psychological Services responded to 77 school-associated
crisis events that required additional District-level Crisis support. In these cases, District School Psychologists
were dispatched to provide school-based mental health teams with additional mental health crisis support
for students, staff and families.
