Performance Management


        Performance Management fosters a culture of employee engagement and alignment with District
        goals  to  achieve  results.  In  FY24,  the  Department  of  Professional  Development  supported
        evaluation systems for all employee groups. In addition, the department implemented employee
        training  in  CLEAR  Coaching  (Contract,  Listen,  Explore,  Action,  Review),  a  systematic
        transformational coaching model.































        Single School Culture Coordinators


        The District’s Single School Culture Coordinators (SSCC) serve as resident experts, adaptable instructional leaders, and
        pivotal figures in providing academic, behavioral, and climate support for school-based leadership teams, teachers, and
        staff. The vision for the District’s Single School Culture program is that all school-based employees are dedicated to effective
        practices and performance expectations centered on student achievement.

        FY24 presented a unique set of new State requirements regarding testing and benchmarks for student achievement. The
        new standards and curriculum required particular focus and attention to aligning instruction while guiding teachers to
        make informed decisions using all available data sources.

        Support for SSCC included monthly professional learning sessions, on-demand mini-professional learning and individual
        coaching sessions. To tailor support to SSCC particular needs, the program planners regularly collaborated with school
        leadership teams and District-based departmental and instructional specialists.
