Student Portal
The Division of Information Technology implemented an improved Enterprise Portal for students and employees in FY24.
The portal continued to be the primary point of entry for accessing student and employee web-based software applications,
granting the same access and experience when logged in from school or home. The new portal was accessible to all District-
operated schools, students, and employees, in addition to charter school employees.
The portal offered four primary benefits to students and employees:
• All web-based applications are behind a secure portal, even when connecting from home.
• Students and employees are automatically and securely logged in to most applications and systems without entering
usernames and passwords multiple times.
• Students and employees do not need to remember (or bookmark) addresses to many software applications or recall
unique usernames and passwords for multiple applications.
• It is a cloud-based platform so access should remain consistent to students and employees even during internal
technical outages.

Student Attendance and Re-Engagement
The Student Attendance and Re-Engagement initiative, a collaborative effort that successfully concluded in FY24, the final
year of a three-year grant awarded by the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund, has made
significant strides in addressing truancy. During the FY24 school year, the District partnered with many organizations, such
as Children’s Home Society, Child Net, Urban League of Palm Beach County, and Children’s Services Council, to develop a
robust truancy intervention program to support students identified as habitually truant.
