Work and projects recently in progress or completed by the Enterprise
Applications team include:
• SIS Document Center - Multi-year effort started in 2022 to implement
the new SIS Document Center and migrate elementary school student
cumulative folders to electronic storage in SIS.
• District Bulletins App - District Bulletins process from initial drafting
through all revisions and approvals to final distribution is now handled via
a new in-house developed custom application.
• New District Website - New Blackboard District website was launched
in December. Next up for migration to the Blackboard platform are school
websites and the Hub.

• HR Case Management App - The ERP Teams assisted the Professional
Development Department and the vendor to implement a system to
manage their investigative cases.

• PeopleSoft Absence Management Implementation
• Custom District Accreditation App Developed

• Custom School Grade Calculator App Developed

• Custom Points of Contact App Updated
• EDW Migration to SQL Database

In-progress and upcoming projects for the Enterprise Applications team
include Raptor Volunteer Management, SIS Cloud Solution, Hosted
Portal, and Legal/Purchasing Contract Lifecycle Management..

IT Project Management Office

The IT PMO team continues to provide project management and oversight
for technology projects across the District. A partial list of projects that the IT
PMO headed up this year includes:
• 2023 - 2027 District Technology Plan
• Security Incident Event Management (SIEM)

• Centegix CrisisAlert Hard Panic Button Badges
• Chromebook Catch-Up for Students
• Call Center as a Service (CCaaS) for IT Service Desk

• Fingerprint Outsourcing
• Network Micro-Segmentation
• PeopleSoft Security Update
• Load Balancer Replacement
• Hosted Provisioning

• School Recabling Project
• District Initiatives Process Training & Support

Additionally, the PMO team was extremely pleased to restart the District IT
Summer Intern project after an absence of two years due to COVID-19.
Current projects we’re working on include: Universal Student ID Badges,
Hosted Portal, SIS Cloud Solution, Student Bus Ridership, Classroom
Library Inventories, Here Comes the Bus! parent app, Remote Bus Video
Retrieval, and Electronic Bus Pre/Post Route Inspections.
