Non-Instructional Professional Development

The District set a “Wildly Important Goal” (WIG) to increase the number of professional growth
opportunities for non-instructional employees from 379 classes per year to 500 courses by June
30, 2022. The Non-Instructional Professional Development site was developed and launched in
September 2021 to facilitate quick access to learning opportunities.

The Non-Instructional PD Site was designed to empower our non-instructional staff by sharing
learning opportunities, supporting employees’ professional growth, and increasing opportunities.
All the professional learning opportunities were relevant to the work non-instructional employees
do daily. The learning opportunities also were coordinated to provide non-instructional employees
a chance to learn new skills and gain knowledge to increase opportunities for career advancement.
