The Audio Enhancement EPIC System is a networked intercom, paging, and bell system that fully integrates into the
instructional environment. Due to its direct integration with classroom sound field enhancement systems and safety
alerting solutions, EPIC System has been the standard for new construction schools since 2020.

School Operations Efficiency
The intuitive touchscreen kiosk can create zones and call groups of rooms for
testing, lunch, and dismissal.
Schools can create custom announcements, alerts, and bell schedules
without a District technician. Users can also make and answer calls from any
computer or mobile device. Additionally, the system allows remote support
for most service calls.

Safety Alerting
EPIC System allows school administrators to pre-record standardized safety alert messages and it integrates with crisis
alert systems, including the Centegix Crisis Alert system in all District schools. Built-in features allow teachers to send alerts
to administrators received via text, email, voice, and visual notifications on the EPIC System kiosk, potentially reducing
response times.

Additionally, EPIC System fully integrates with classroom sound field enhancement standardized in all District classrooms.
Sound from media sources, alerts, and intercom announcements is heard throughout the room, rather than a single
intercom speaker on the teaching wall.

Cost Savings
The EPIC System upgrades utilize the District’s existing data network infrastructures, allowing schools to quickly and
inexpensively add coverage in the future should the school change room utilization, add buildings, or add portables.
This eliminates the need for costly underground boring or digging trenches and adding underground piping. Initial cost
comparisons indicate that upgrading to EPIC System over traditional intercoms provides increased functionality for a
comparable or lower overall cost.
