124 SUPERINTENDENT ANNUAL REPORTMULTI-TIERED SYSTEM OF SUPPORTSThe Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is an evidence-based educational model that has been shown to improve student outcomes. Through data-driven problem-solving, the framework integrates academic and behavioral interventions across multiple tiers. This needs-based decision-making process ensures effective resource allocation aligned with appropriate support levels, resulting in a systemic approach to student achievement.Schools engaged in extensive professional learning to reinforce MTSS best practices. Educators participated in District-level workshops and individualized training at more than 115 school sites. Ongoing administrative needs assessments and action plans informed these customized sessions. Training topics included:%u2022 Progress Monitoring%u2022 MTSS Problem-Solving Professional Learning Communities%u2022 Exceptional Student Education and School-Based Team Collaboration%u2022 Core Team Frameworks%u2022 Problem-Solving for BehaviorRecognizing dedication to student success, the Florida Problem Solving and Response to Intervention Project awarded several prestigious FY25 honors to District and charter campuses. A total of 13 campuses earned the MTSS Improvement Award: Beacon Cove Intermediate, Blue Lake ES, Coral Sunset ES, Diamond View ES, Jupiter Farms ES, Lake Worth Community HS, Lighthouse ES, Morikami Park ES, Palm Springs Community MS, Pierce Hammock ES, Sunrise Park ES, and U.B. Kinsey/Palmview ES.Beacon Cove Intermediate and Lighthouse ES received specific recognition for enhanced problem-solving systems and gains in subject-area learning. Sunrise Park ES earned the Exemplar Award for substantial learning gains among diverse student subgroups, highlighting exceptional statewide performance. The MTSS Team supports teachers with progress monitoring systems.
