This campaign has helped reduce stigma and increase student self-referrals, improving timely access to support. Figure 7Total Referrals to School-Based ProfessionalsSchools are supported by highly trained mental health professionals, including school behavioral health professionals, co-located clinicians, counselors, and psychologists, all of whom play critical roles in meeting students%u2019 needs. Through their coordinated efforts, the number of students receiving services increases significantly each year. This growth, driven by greater awareness and more streamlined access to school-based supports, reduces barriers and ensures students receive timely care.
