6711th Annual Student Mental Health and Wellness ConferenceCultivating Hope, Joy and Well-BeingAnnual professional development event founded on the belief that by breaking down silos between work groups, the District can better support student mental health and well-being, leading to better student engagement and improved academic achievement.%u008a The FY25 Student Mental Health and Wellness (SMHaW) conference was launched with the keynote session, Power of the Positive: Cultivating Optimism, being delivered by Karen Beaudoin, MSW, Senior Trainer, Health Advocate.%u008a The remainder of the day allowed attendees to choose from 30 breakout sessions on topics like Cultivating Hope and Resilience: Supporting Grieving Students in Schools, Are You Feeling Burnt Out?, Increasing Self-Care: Educator Edition, Mental Health Teaming: Best Practices for Aligning Existing School Teams, and Roadmap to Supporting Student Well-being (School Resource Mapping and Quality Assessment).%u008a The on-site Resource Fair provided attendees with the opportunity to visit with and learn from district and community agencies.Behavioral/Mental Health, Psychological & Counseling Services
