                                    EDUCATE | AFFIRM | INSPIRE 131EMPLOYEE WELLNESS AND POLICE PEER SUPPORTThe District advanced strategic plan initiative C.2c by expanding mental health and well-being supports for employees. Coordinated efforts prioritize a culture where well-being remains accessible across all schools and departments. Staff utilization of available resources increased throughout FY26 due to targeted outreach and engagement.Physical wellness environments expanded during the reporting period with:%u2022 Six new relaxation rooms were opened for staff use.%u2022 Enhancements were completed to 15 existing wellness spaces.%u2022 Dedicated wellness areas are now in place across 114 schools and 24 departments.In partnership with Optum Health, the District expanded direct support by adding a part-time mental health clinician and a mental well-being specialist. Clinical staff provide on-site services to employees at no additional cost.Comprehensive care efforts included:%u2022 Integrating Employee Assistance Program (EAP) resources.%u2022 Distributing support materials during professional learning sessions.%u2022 Expanding virtual connection opportunities through the Healthy Thinking & Healthy Living program.%u2022 Launching three new support groups.These collective efforts earned national recognition, with the District receiving Mental Health America%u2019s Platinum Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health in FY26, an advancement from Gold in FY25.
