Intensive Interventions
• Conducts Restorative Practices or Peer Mediation.
• Conducts Home Visits.
• As part of the Crisis Support Team, the SBHP assists with crisis intervention services, including conducting
short-term crisis counseling, providing staff support, and conducting parent/guardian education
activities.
• Assists with the coordination of students entering and exiting behavioral and mental health recovery
centers and programs; participates in the effective monitoring of the reintegration process into school
based activities and functions.
• Acts as liaison between families and collaborative agencies with Behavioral Health Agreements, thereby
ensuring the effective coordination of the services provided by the school and support agencies/
programs.

They served 21,017 individual students Districtwide.
