UnitedHealthcare Services, Inc. is dedicated to helping people live healthier lives and making the health
system work better for everyone. They serve millions of people from their earliest years through their working
lives and through retirement.
The School District of Palm Beach County and UnitedHealthcare have partnered for over 24 years in creating
and delivering high quality programs to help the employees and their family members live healthier lives.
With a progressive Wellness Program as part of the solution, together we have been able to deliver these
benefits while maintaining a 4-year annualized trend of 1.7%. This is 4.2% lower than other school districts
with an estimated savings of $36.2 million dollars over that period of time.
2020 brought on an entirely new set of challenges with the COVID-19 pandemic to both education as well
as health care with The School District of Palm Beach County and UnitedHealthcare stepping up to create
solutions. Remote telehealth and wellness capabilities were increased for all members and when safe to do
so, UnitedHealthcare helped to continue the push for engagement in the following programs to continue the
successes of previous years.
