Health Rewards
During FY21, the District relaxed the need for a biometric screening in lieu of adding some virtual alternatives
to help members obtain their Health Reward. This led to a slight overall increase in members being engaged
with this program and receiving the incentive. Whatever stage a member is in, Health Rewards may help
them get healthy, stay healthy or live life with a chronic illness. Employees can earn up to $600 annually in
premium incentives from the District.
Nurse at Work
Throughout the pandemic, the UHC District Nurse Liaison, Gail Diedrick, RN, continued to promote the
use of clinical programs, disease management, diabetes health plan, and care management via virtual and
telephonic engagement. Members were able to still get the assistance they needed with more members
than ever becoming engaged in their health with Gail Diedrick’s assistance.
