UnIteDhealthcare is dedicated to helping people live healthier lives and making the health system
work better for everyone. We seek to enhance the performance of the health system and improve the overall
health and well-being of the people we serve and their communities. No time has this been more important
and relevant than in 2021 as we moved out of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The School District of Palm Beach County and UnitedHealthcare have partnered for over 25 years in creating and
delivering high quality programs to help the employee’s and their family members live healthier lives. With
a progressive Wellness Program as part of the solution, together we have been able to deliver these benefits
while maintaining a 5-year annualized trend of 1.6%. This trend is less than half that of other school districts
with an estimated savings of $29.4 million dollars.
