Further develop and implement the meal/dining reengineering concepts. - 5 of 10 years.

Santaluces Community High School was selected as the third high school to receive the Reengineering Program which is scheduled to open on August 17, 2015. Harvard Jolly Architectural firm was retained to develop and draft the drawings for the construction bid.

On March 25, 2015 the Board approved the construction bid to KAST Construction. School Food Service, Program Management, KAST, and Harvard Jolly have been working closely together to coordinate the project. Demolition started on June 5, 2015.

To successfully implement projects of this size, two years of planning is required to ensure on time completion. Royal Palm Beach High School has been selected to be the fourth school to receive the program. The Board approved this project on October 15, 2014. The design process is underway.

A bulletin was sent out to all high school principals informing them about the program and requesting anyone, interested in the program, should contact SFS for consideration. From the bulletin we received interest from nine Principals. After evaluating the selection criteria, a selection was made. The next steps are to contact the Principal, have all parties sign the Service Level Agreement (SLA), and present to the Board for final approval.
