School Food Service has created annual reports for many years to highlight the accomplishments of our team. This year we decided to create a web version of our annual report. This process was started during the previous school year and culminated in the 2013-2014 school year with a comprehensive electronic report which mirrored our Strategic Business Plan for the year.

Planning and design meetings were held to develop the annual report structure and timeline. Meeting minute documents (1) (2) were created to organize tasks. A strategy spreadsheet was created to organize topics for the annual report. Throughout the year documents were organized, language was written, and pictures and videos were taken to capture the passion behind the work we perform.

The final web based annual report was presented at the October 18, 2013 Manager’s In-Service meeting and at the October 16, 2013 Wellness Promotion Task Force Meeting.

We also communicated our annual report link to Principals through one of our Keeping You Informed newsletters.

The report has been very beneficial in communicating our strategies to community members as well and we are proud recipients of the 2013 Sunshine Medallion Award from SUNSPRA for our FY13 Annual Report.
