In order to stay in compliance with USDA guidelines, every year we have to evaluate the equity of paid meals per State regulations, determine plan of action, and present to district leadership and the Board.  The board approved the plan of action and authorized an increase in paid lunch price.  In the school year 2013-2014 the paid meal price was increased to $1.85 and $2.10.  In order to communicate the increase a bulletin was prepared and sent out to Principals.  In July the updated marketing booklet was sent to all the households of children in the district and a ParentLink phone call was sent to inform parents of the price increase. 

Additionally, in order to remain in compliance with the USDA Non Program Revenue  guidelines, we submitted the required documentation to the State.  The state confirmed that we were in compliance for the current school year.
