In the 2013-2014 school year we wanted to move towards ordering electronically with direct delivery vendors.  Erneston Produce was the first company to assist us with this venture.  We started with 5 pilot schools in February, and by the end of March, all schools had been moved to ordering from Erneston electronically.

Communication was made with Borden Dairy Company of Florida, LLC, Flowers Baking Company of Miami, LLC  and Frozen Treats to discuss logistics and possible piloting of the electronic ordering process. After several meetings and communication, a pilot was started with 5 schools in Area 2 for ordering from Borden Dairy.  The pilot was successful and the summer sites have started ordering their milk electronically as well.
