Benefits Buzz

This District sends out a monthly newsletter titled Benefits Buzz which gives updates and reminders regarding the program to all employees. School Food Service followed up with emails to Food Service Managers and Office Staff re-emphasizing the details of the program.

The Wellness Rewards Program was discussed at every manager in-service. Support staff offered additional one on one coaching to assist employees with completing the needed steps to earn their points as well as assist them with health insurance selections.

The Wellness Rewards Program was the topic for the November Professional Development Day Training. At this training the manager provided each employee with a Personal Wellness Planner explaining the program and had each employee sign off on an Employee Acknowledgement Form to affirm that they received the plan and understood what their requirements were to qualify for the rewards. This training also coincided with annual enrollment for health benefits.
