The School Food Service Department is very proactive when it comes to training and the safety of our employees. New employees attend a New Employee Workshop the first week they are hired into the department. Additionally, each Professional Development Day (PDD), employees receive training in scheduled safety workshops which share information topics such as the ABC’s of Cleaning, Know Your Numbers - Tracking Blood Pressure and Cholesterol, Team Work, Ladder Safety, Wearing the Proper Shoes, and Wellness.
